This story is very simple, but sweet. My only suggestion is, try to vary your sentence structure a little more. Not half bad, though.

It's interesting to see a shorter piece from you again as opposed to your lengthier works of late. It's also interesting to see another angle in your Sally stories by focusing it on the King. Spelling, grammar etc are still very well done and the 'brisk' style works pretty effectively. I also find myself trying to crowbar a tune around "He proposes near the roses" XP

In short, a very nice little season story and remember, no matter how little reviews this thing gets, you've at least got one sod addicted!
