It seems I'm nine years late, but it doesn't matter, I love this story. Every part of it. Every character is unique. You can't possibly leave Malix unpunished, though. How can you allow such a thing? Isn't there an award for best villain around here? He truly deserves it.
Vader and Leia have me in tears. I can't decide whether Vader needs a hug or a punch in the gut. Maybe I'll save the punch for Malix.
Breha is a mother at heart. I used to be suspicious of Nilor, but I've grown fond of him lately. All of your characters, original and not, are incredible. Finally, a Vader-Leia story, and an excellent one! Kudos!

This is such a good story! I'm surprised at how real the OCs felt- I usually skip over their parts in fanfic, but I really liked all of your OCs and reading about them (especially Malix and his family). I wish there were more Vader and Leia moments, though I do enjoy the intrigue on Alderaan and with the Rebellion.
It's a shame this seems to have been discontinued; it'd be really cool to see the story taken further.

I'm wondering, is Ferus Olin going to make an appearance in Leia's rescue? If this story is continued, of course. He was appointed by Obi Wan to protect and watch over little Leia. I see that his Master was mentioned in an earlier chapter too, Siri. Your story is interesting and very well written!

This chapter was heartbreaking. It just reminded me that Leia is so young, so alone, and needs her father- but he may as well be a complete stranger. Seeing her reaching out for help, being scared, only to be ignored is horrible. Well done.

Read the entire story in one sitting. It sickened me. I actually felt physically ill while reading some of the scenes. While I may have had musical assistance in the form of a looping album (Asleep and We'll Hidden by Kammarheit), it is still an incredible accomplishment. This is one of the few stories I've seen that truly delves the twisted torments and ills man can stoop to without blame to supernatural Powers or Beings. While the Emperor and the Force certainly qualify as both (and I wouldn't be surprised to see his fetid touch all over all of your OC's, especially the rebels), Moff Malix's behavior is within the bounds of studied abnormal psychology. While it wouldn't shock me if the Sith were indirectly responsible for his mindset (the Emperor certainly placed Malix deliberately), no direct supernatural manipulation is required to create such a person. Overall, bit of editing for consistency and grammar would be nice but the story is great and you should be proud.

Totally awesome story. I like the way you are exploring the parent/child relationships of Vader and Leia as well as Kenobi and Luke. I also just love the way you wove in all these original characters. Usually, I'm not a big fan of OCs because they tend to be just shoe-horned into the universe, but you've done a truly excellent job of introducing your OCs slowly and carefully so they are fully integrated into your story and seem very much as if they belong there.

I love this pic so much and found it after several years ago. There is an obvious cliffhanger here and I'm dying to know how it will end up. Were you planning on finishing it, do we ever get to find out? Please come back!
