Yay! I too am a supporter of the LBxSSX pairing, and I really like this story. It's very descriptive and, I think anyways, believeable! Keep up the good work. :3 And try to make the chapters longer, yes?

I like Zhang Fei too, though I wish they would have shown his more fatherly side in DW5, even IF Xing Cai wasn't historical. P

Yeah, you're still writing it well, and at the end, it was nice that Liu was able to get in a casual comment, too. I believe that this DOES somewhat cover their character.

What Ecnal said. It's short, but hope the next chapter is abit longer. Man, the whole purpose of the marriage was always Wu's bragging about Jingzhou. They NEVER took Jiang Ling historically alone; they capture it WITH Liu Bei. Zhou Yu lost to Cao Ren ONCE before he made a rematch against him with Zhang Fei's reforcements.

Lets hope, Liu Bei and SSX are more consist of a serious relationship that affects the true purpose of the alliance. Stopping Cao Cao...

This is a nicely written intro, and with it you can sort of imagine where the fic is going. I really like this pairing, and I'm glad you decided to (apparently) write one on SSX/Liu Bei, seeing as everybody's all 'OMG LIU BEI IS GAY GAN NING IS MORE BISHOUNEN EVEN THOUGH HE NEVER EVER TALKED WITH SSX!' or 'SSX WOULD NEVER HAVE LOVED LIU BEI EVEN IF WE DUNNO HOW SHE'D REACT AND THE FACT THAT FEMINISM NEVER EXISTED THAT FAR BACK IN TEH PAST!'

...as you can see, I am quite thrilled that there's, after so long, one specific romance fic on those two..It looks promising and well written, so pardon my bouts of outbursts as I'm a very cynical writer...XD
