This was really good. I liked it a lot. But I'm wondering-how was Norrington going to kill himself? Was he going to, like, tie the cannonball to his foot or something where he would sink and not be able to swim up? Just wondering. You're a very good writer. :)

YOU CHUCK THAT CANNON IN THE DRINK NORRY AND NEVER EVER EVER DO THAT AGAIN! That was really very well written. I love Norry angst (as you well know, lol) and this was particularly good. I'm glad Elizabeth gave him a kiss though, he needed it. Keep writing these oneshots, I love them! (But update The Greater Good too, I am on pins and needles waiting for what will happen next!)

I don't blame you for writing it; if it had popped into my mind I would've done it too. Wonderful idea. I love how Norrington is the main character. I didn't really think about it much, but now, I do wonder if he ever almost committed suicide while on the Pearl, and if someone pulled him back - Elizabeth, or perhaps even Jack.
