This was beautiful. Your style of writing is so unique. I really connected with this piece. Thank you for this.

I like that the story is written from Jackson's POV and I like what he has to say. I don't really feel that Lisa would give in quite so easily though. Even if it was truly what she wanted, I think her conscience telling her that it is wrong no matter how they may feel for each other, would make her more resistant to letting him have his way.
Nectar-Ambrosia chapter 1 . 7/8/2012
This. Is. So. Magnificent. You have them so in character, and oh MAN I love the dialogue-less elegance of Jackson's mind. Gave me shivers. Thanks for this.
VanillaLime chapter 1 . 9/28/2011

EmpireX chapter 1 . 9/9/2009
Two words, "wicked" and "delicious", come to mind when reading this. Perfection, dear Zzee, perfection.
StarzAngelus chapter 1 . 2/1/2009
Wow. I am so glad that this incredibly well-written one-shot was one of the first I read in the "Red Eye" fanfiction world. There was some amazing lines, but the last one was the most chilling. Fantastic job. :)
ARoseWithThorns chapter 1 . 8/6/2008
Brilliant.
NicolinaN chapter 1 . 7/3/2008
'snorts' How silly is that? I had to log out in order to review this... since I had already done it like two years ago!

Just re-read it. It's definitely top ten in the fandom, and we're at what, 550 stories and counting!

There are some amazing lines in it which makes me green with envy that I didn't make them up:

"I turn away and leave. Oh Leese. It seems as if I’m not such a bad guy anymore and you not such a good girl. Maybe one day, we can meet in the middle."

That is SO beautiful!

"This is your own personal deal with the devil - you seal it with a kiss and then you’re mine."

'shudders'

"Lesser women – and I’ve had my share of those – would have crumbled, but not you. You were scared and desperate and marred for life, but somehow you had found a way past the panic and put up a good fight, a smart fight. Congratulations. Only a lesser man – and I’m sure you’ve had your share of those – wouldn’t have appreciated the sentiment."

Wow! Just... WOW!

Nic.

animus nocendi chapter 1 . 4/8/2008
. !

How? How on earth did you write this? I don't think there are other authors that can capture Jackson Rippner the way you do. He's perfectly in character - something I didn't expect after reading a lot of Red Eye stories: Most of them only end with sappy romances. But this was- I felt it, I truly did. It's the only one-shot about Jackson and Lisa I loved here. And well, music helps, too. Manson and Zeromancer rocks!

Thanks to you and your beta for writing such a...what should I say...passionate one-shot(?). Keep writing, you and your beta did a wonderful work.

Greetings and chocolate-covered cookies

P.S: Sorry if you don't like them, you can always lend those delicious and imaginary cookies to me! *wink*

Well since you left me that lovely review reply I had to read and review your other stories. Actually I think I've read this one before but I didn't review it.

But I must say this is another amazing story, and it gives a hint at a happy ending, which I quite enjoy. All in all, this is probably one of the best Red Eye oneshots I've read, and now I need to go read the other one
saucydeviant chapter 1 . 9/12/2007
sigh. And now we all know exactly why they should be together. Exactly why he's...in like? with her. Makes absolutely sense and this should be taken as the written word.
