| PGHammer chapter 4 . 11/19/2019 You aren't - however, I did, thanks to you. It's basically an AU of HBP, and it's set in the oddest of places initially - Gringott's. (Specifically, the reading of Sirius' Will.) That part doesn't sound odd; lots of fanfiction is set there; however, here's my twist - Sirius does a takedown on their marriages, but kicks *neither* of them out of the House of Black. And just *who* is the new Lord Black? It's not Draco - who winds up a *literal* bastard under law. (Narcissa's marriage to Lucius is denied - for violation of the contract. Bella's marriage gets whacked for the same reason.) That sets all SORTS of oddness into motion. Turns out that Bellatrix had been under the WORST sort of marriage contract possible AND a Compulsion Potion. With Bellatrix' contract denied, it also cancels the effects of the Potion - and because she was Marked while under the combination, said Mark goes away - right in front of no less than Amelia Bones, the Director of Magical Law Enforcement - and a just-as-boggled Hermione Granger and Remus Lupin. Bellatrix, naturally, feels like she just got run over by Buckbeak - and all his relations. She also remembers *everything* that happened to her. And she is NOT happy - about any of it. Amelia realizes that Bellatrix is a treasure trove of information - that needs guarding. Where she needs to go is quickly decided - #12 Grimmauld Place. Good thing Harry owns that, isn't it? |
