Wow not what i expected to turn up in my inbox that's for I haven't had a chance to read the chapter yet, has it really been six years?

Anyway I just wanted to say congrats on your son and say that at least one person is still reading if you keep writing. Though I need to reread the entire thing again at this point lol.

I was actually considering doing something with this fic's basic premise, including SxA, but maybe it's not the greatest idea considering this fic exists.

oO, It's been ages since the last update (at least it seems a lot to me), so I had to re-read the whole thing from top to bottom. XD It's not a bad thing though, this is a nice WAFFy story and WAFF is always good, no matter what other people say.

Anyway, not much to say except the fact that I'm enjoying this, the way you blend the music with the fic is far better than in any other attempts I've seen and that makes this all the more enjoyable.

I love all those jokes around Rei, the "Can I have my bunny?" bit got me laughing really hard.

Loved this chapter (like all the others lol). Was a good song choice, it took me just a second to make the click on what the song actually was, I sat there kinda blank for a second then it was like "OH!". It was pretty smooth how he managed to work her name into the song too, I'd say if they were at that level, Shinji would be seeing some action tonight for that one :P.

All in all another good chapter of the (at this point) epic saga. It's been over a year now and we just keep on rolling. Good job, looking forward to the next one. D

Oo, a new chapter, been long enough since you last updated. It's good to see a new one. Interesting way of depicting Asuka's father, the view on him is really torn around, some say he's an asshole as bad as Gendo if not worse, some make him like you do and some turn him into an awkward father. Seeing that this is a WAFF fic, it was to be expected that Asuka's father would behave decently, right? So no complaint there.

The Rei bits made me laugh, I always thought that because of how she was in the series, if changed a bit, Rei could be an endless well of humor.

All in all, a good chapter that brings a little insight on how things are going, so good luck with your work and update as soon as you can.

Anyway this one was good (of course). I feel for Shinji during that whole scene with Asuka's father, I would have felt more comfortable bringing Unit 01 with me to that meeting haha. All in all exactly what we've come to expect from a story with consistantly high standards, can't wait to see the next one.

I loved what Asuka said, women are supposed to be mysterious. That was hilarious! I hope that there is a follow up story if this one is coming to an end. This is a fun story to read! I hope you had as much fun writing this as I had reading it.

So, another chapter has finally been posted. This story is good and thanks to youtube I was able to listen to all of the songs while reading it. The songs fir Shinji and the crew rather well in my opinion and I'm under the impression that the music industry wouldn't have fared too well anyway with the Second and Third Impacts. Keep going and I hope that either this story gets very long or that you're going to make follow-up stories. The thing is that you can end this story when the band itself isn't the main focus anymore and make another story afterwards to continue the time line. Whatever you do, this is a great story which is really worth reading so I hope that you'll consider it worth writing.

Yay another chapter, with more good writing as usual. Only complaint I have is... I dunno if I missed it or not, but there didn't seem to be much description of the actual concert that Shinji went to do. Who knows though it is like 1 AM lol. Nice job dude, lookin' forward to the next one.

I still have to finish it, I'm almost there, but I can see that you just love music and I sense that maybe you are open minded about it and that's good!

About the first set of songs its funny how it starts with Van Halen and finish with Hoobastank.

The story is way too romantic for my taste but I do enjoy the concert parts too much. Is not that I can't enjoy a little romance from time to time, but I think that it's more interesting if there are complications in the relationship. I actually would've loved to see Shinji fighting for Asuka's love, but thats just my opinion.

I would also loved if you put less known songs, even if they are still very known bands. Like the first battle scene, you used The Unforgiven part one, but I think that Disposable Heroes from the same band fits better, that's just an example.

It will be nice to see more of Pearl Jam, and maybe something of Led Zeppelin, Ramones and The Doors (that, by the way would've fit perfectly in the first set since they only played with drums, organ and a guitar, but that cannot change anymore, right?).

Anyway, I do enjoy the story. Keep 'em coming!

This story is still developing very nicely. I've been away for a while, but now that i read these latest chapters i was nicely pleased. Great.
