Naruto really knows how to pull some strings to pull out the stops for making his relation with Kurenai public. It sounds like a fun idea for a date. Since he seems to be in love with her, she appears perfect to him in every way (ideally). Looking forward to seeing where this will go from here in the way that he's trying to make things progress.

The only typo I see is the word "event" being wrongly spelled as "even". It's clear that's what it is although the misspelling is unintentional.

It's been a very long time since you last updated this fic. Whether you'll get back into writing this story to its completion depends if you'll find the time to pick up where you last left off wherever you are now in life. Still, this is a good way to experiment with writing about a non-canon pairing in setting up a situation that will eventually bring the two closer together for something a connection to build between them.

I see what you did here with bringing Naruto and Kurenai close together by having them emotionally bond over relatable past experiences. It's understandable that Naruto gets touchy over the mention of Sasuke in a negative light since he still considers him a dear friend no matter what-him being the type to have faith in others and having an optimistic outlook on life. It was unexpected of Kurenai to make a move on him when they're just starting out with getting to know each other better.

As unexpected as it resulted, this is an interesting turn of events even though it didn't turn out exactly how Naruto had planned. Kiba really knows how to throw the situation a loop. Apparently, both have the hots for each other as depicted here.

It'll be interesting to see how Naruto would go about this getting Ino's help when he doesn't have an idea of what else to do. Things didn't turn out exactly the way that he'd hoped with Asuma, but at least it couldn't hurt to try to find out whether something would progress from it.

Sometimes, a guy and a girl who look like they're really close can be mistaken as being a couple or having more going on between them than just friendship. That's how it is with society's general norm about romance as something between two people of the opposite sex.

This sounds like it'll be one amusing story with Naruto trying to play matchmaker just to win the bet. That's just like Kakashi to not be attentive about things that are frivolous to him.
