Aw man. I wanted to see more therapy sessions with "Yui". This was great. I really enjoyed the trip down memory lane. Haha. Yeah. Shinji's been mentally unstable since age three. Never been to therapy. None of that shit got resolved. He was a powder keg from episode one to The End. I'm surprised he didn't develope more issues than he did. Ya know, I used to read a lot of Eva fanfics back in the day (I'm a 25 year old boomer after all) and while time has atrophied nearly all memory of them, this sick piece of shit is still vivid in my mind and I last read it back when George Bush was still president I think. The implications were made pretty obvious from the start, but I still couldn't help but think to myself 'is he really going where it seems like he's going with this?' And you were. So, kudos to you for writing such an absurdly crazy fic, you dark bastard.

Also, Shinji legitimately freaked me out when he was talking in Yui's voice. It definitely evokes images of Norman Bates from Psycho. I'm not sure if that's what you were going for, but yeah it was super creepy. Especially given that I was reading that part at like 3:30 in the morning. Anyways, great story.

Let me be honest here. I need to write something.

Normally, I avoid the sickest stuff because I can't tolerate it, but I'm fairly open when the topic shifts to porn or hentai, even controversial ones - guro, social taboos, you name it. So I was convinced that I could stomach a bit of... unique stuff, so long as it remained within certain boundaries.

This work knows none of those boundaries. It is pure, undiluted nightmare fuel of the highest quality, the sickest fanfic I've ever read online, bar none.

And you know what's most frightening? IT WORKS. It stays true to the dark and depressing nature of the show, and the disastrous psychological health of some characters.

...now if you'll excuse me, I need my brain bleach.

Well... between the "reconstruction surgery" and "going missing," first thoughts went to 'Uh, uh, he turned into an Angel...?' But then it went back to "Kyoko? That you?" And in hindsight at that point, it became "maybe it's someone's mind come back from the past?" Didn't connect it to, well, her at all until the reveal I'm afraid.

If this is how Mis and Rits take it, wonder what Rei and Asuka will think?

And on a completely disregarding the seriousness of the situation note (that is, retconning the darkness[does saying 'lol' after that make me evil?]), wonder how things might have turned out if Rei and Asuka figured out he actually thought, well, that, and it was played for laughs?

... What? It could have been possible... maybe...

I dare say they're doing it wrong - leaving aside the morality issue for a moment - if painkillers are needed, but anyhow... disturbing. I'd like to say disturbing in a 'good' way... and indeed I shall, for the characterisation was consistently acceptable, though not uniformly excellent. As I opened with saying, the bloody-ness and such is a bit meh, but the premise is brilliant in the kind of way I think we've all come to expect of you. That was some nice wit we saw there with Misato, also.

This was one excellent piece of work. I didn't quite cathc that Shinji involved himslef in this by his own free will, but hey the sicker the greater... not really but I am still amazed. I like Shinji above all other Eva charachters and hate to see him suffer but I still find these darkfics amazing... I must be insane... Good work m'lady or sir... whoever you are you just made my day!
