what happens next?

This story needs two follow-ons, the one that you left a teaser for, but also the one where Cassie breaks a hockey stick over the heads of the high school students who abused Jack, or may be she will be merciful and merely whack it between their legs.

Very good story, despite the ugly and serious theme. You do a mean 'Jack'! And a very good cliffhanger ending, too.
