Poor Fleur. Though she wasn't planning on it, she told her family but Hermione can not do the same. Tad selfish but understandable. Somehow, I can not help but think their difference in age has also played here. Fleur knew what she wanted and how to go about it while Hermione felt she only got caught in the moment but is now regretting it. And regretting once more after being careless with her words.
