I actually thought for a moment that it was nuclear bombs and not the infinity gem, and that the Irkens would stumble upon a hellish nuclear wasteland. Personally, I'd even worse than what we could currently make, seeing as the IZ humans are more advanced than us...in some areas, I suppose. It'd be cool if we'd get their (Irkens) perspective on it. It'd be an interesting story, but I suppose this was pretty good, although, you may want to have read over the story, it's got a bit of grammar errors.
