This was beautiful. One of my favorite fics. I just kept repeating "this is so romantic" to my husband. Did I read parts of it to him because I thought it was precious as hell? Why yes I did. He knows nothing about the characters but by God he needed to hear how good your writing was!

I can’t believe I waited so long to read this? This was just sitting among tons of other fanfiction tabs I have on chrome on my phone (did you know when you get to 100 tabs chrome just gives you a smiley face instead of a number?) for at least a year, but I just hadn’t gotten around to it yet?
This fic makes me want to go through and read the SS moments in my own fics and try and see if I can figure out a way to continue them, but at the very least just reread those moments again.

This is seriously among my all-time favorite fics, SS fics, and likely my absolute favorite SS one shot of all time.
I started copying pieces of writing (from phrases to paragraphs of fics I read) that I liked for one reason or another (their cadence, their rhythm, interesting pun or funny joke, beautiful prose or inspiring, etc) and I wrote down quite a few from this one shot alone. I started a”Favorite Quotes” section just because of you (the “she smiles for you” part as he explains how he loves her).

I’ve always had a weakness for genin!SasuSaku bc I feel that’s where Sasuke was at his best and most vulnerable, and the dynamic of a romance while he was in a team he was about kills me every time. And you’ve done that and just aged them up, so of course by default I was bound to at least like it.

But then not you gave me head-over-heels-in-love pining-to-the-max Sasuke and I was a goner. Lining!Sasuke is my death. I hope you know that. And you gave me pining!Sasuke with such enchanting and intoxicating prose? I loved every fucking second of it. It inspires me so much and I want to write like that but also read that shit for eternity. It kills me in the best way and I love it so much. So so much. So so so so so so so much.

I really don’t know how to express to you how much I love this, my heart is bursting and I can barely contain it and I love it and want more so badly.
