indefinitelyhigh chapter 1 . 5/31/2009 Ah, this is just love! I love how ya write ;) very cool. I love how John wants to get Rogue's attention and is all giddy over something small. Very reaalistic and I'm character too. Wonderfully writen. I love how you added he was raised catholic. It's such a contrast to his personality, no? ;) Nice little touch. Your story is fabulous, btw. I love your writing. I hope you keep writing. It was wonderful to read. LOVELY JOB :) |
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 4/26/2009 A great story. Very good. |

Miranda Panda-chan chapter 1 . 8/17/2008 That was splendiferous. I was laughing so hard it hurt at the end. The whole "Die, Antlered Scum, Die!" was ingenious. Really. I'm impressed. This was an awesome story. You should write another one like this, because this is amazing stuff! The salt part was hilarious, too. Awesome job! -Mirand Panda |
Dawns Heart chapter 1 . 11/23/2007 A very different take on the Rogue/John scenario. Normally she's the first to forgive him. This was a very enoyable story. :) |
illrain666 chapter 1 . 6/4/2007 great story. i love the way you write. |
DarkClerk chapter 1 . 1/10/2007 I know this is an older fic but I just read it and it's so freaking marvelous I just had to heap worship on you. I love the way you've written John here- the perfectly subtle and balanced way you've explained his past, hinting at his childhood. "the house in New York" Love the self-mocking John-"It was a condiment for Christs sake". Hilarious. I have such a hard time letting John be funny but you've just let it emerge from who he is so perfectly. I could go on and on. Wonderful. Marvelous. Thank-you. |
SmartassChef14 chapter 1 . 1/8/2007 She wanted salt, Sweet Jesus, she was talking to him like he actually existed and if she wanted salt then by God, she would have it. That is the most awesome line. Seriously. I love it and your characteriztion of Johnny and the part about the laundry and Bobby and John's fight and I should stop now, I'm rambling. |
Suntiger chapter 1 . 12/11/2006 Would you pass the salt?” she asked coolly, and God, he had forgotten just how beautiful a Mississippi accent could be. He wanted to go down to the state personally and thank her parents for bringing her up to use those heaven-sent inflections. ‘Whouldya pas the sawlt?” He could’ve sat there forever, just listening to her pronounce things. Wait, salt? Salt. She wanted salt, Sweet Jesus, she was talking to him like he actually existed and if she wanted salt then by God, she would have it. Hahahahhaahhaahaha! -breathes in- ahahahahahahahaha. -clears throat- Ahem, yes, that was absolutely HILARIOUS! I didn't know he had a sense of humor. A sarcastic one, yes, but a funny one? HA! You've kept them in character-:D Which is good duh. You just made a sick girl's day. And I don't mean sick as in perverted or insane. I mean actually sick. I've got a mixture of a cold and an asthmatic issue here, which is dangerous you know since you've been making me laugh and I already have problems breathing. Anyways, update soon! |
pulmicort7 chapter 1 . 11/24/2006 OMG! The whole thing was freaking hilarious! So funny! Excellent writing, the humour was awesome and everyone was perfectly in character. The fight between John and Bobby was priceless. My favourite part out of the whole thing was, "He really did want to die just then. He could paint a giant target across his chest, walk up to Logan, and insult his hair. Yeah, that’d get the job done. Snikt, snakt, the witch is dead." BWAHAHAHAH! ROTFLMAO! Freaking hilarious! All in all, a totally awesome story, keep up the good Ryro! |
chattypandagurl chapter 1 . 11/4/2006 This was a very sweet one-shot; your writing flows very well, and you have a great sense for the characters and realism. John doesn't regret his actions, but wants to make up for it by fixing things. I loved the ice-breaker fight between John and Bobby, how Bobby's instictive shared-glances with John showed that their friendship was deeply rooted before he left. And many parts of this story made me smile, especially the laundry scene :) Great job, hope to see more from you. |
thenewunderground chapter 1 . 10/5/2006 I LOVE IT! |
Modern Audrey chapter 1 . 9/21/2006 Really great fic! I love the hair reference, very funny. |
