Rosalind2013 chapter 33 . 12/20/2016 OH. MY. GOODNESS. This is the best Danny Phantom fanfic I've ever read! It was well written, had appropriate plot twists, believable (and super creepy) villains, and a happy ending! It's everything I look for in a story, and I loved it! Great job! ~Rosalind |
Neph Moreau chapter 33 . 10/8/2012 I rarely read fics in this fandom. They're usually poorly written and generally just blah. So the fact that whenever I need a DP fic fix I come to this one - it speaks highly of your story. Granted, I should probably have stopped to tell you that a few years ago, when this became my go to fic in the fandom, but apparently, I'd always thought I'd left you a review and I hadn't. I love this story. It truly is original and clever, something I can't often say. Bravo. |
AmQaudrus chapter 33 . 10/2/2010 incredible, this could have been a real episode... you are an amazing writer, and this story is fantastic! thank you for the great read, love Q. |

Donteatacowman chapter 33 . 10/25/2009 Aw. Sweet, fitting, and touching ending to an excellent story. So Keeper and Hollow were actually ghosts? Was that the maze in the Ghost Zone? Good job. Thank you for writing! |
Donteatacowman chapter 31 . 10/25/2009 Hee hee, it was Naveem the WHOLE TIME. xD Great twist-reminds me of the murder mystery cliche, the-butler-did-it. |
ChasingProse chapter 1 . 9/7/2009 Half a year later, I am back. Searching for the story I loved. Added to favorites, as promised. Thank you. |
ChasingProse chapter 33 . 4/5/2009 Wow. You have truly written an amazing story. I always try to save the review for a great multi-chapter story until the last chapter, so that I can say everything I wanted to. Additionally, I will be the 160th reviewer. This really was nothing short of brilliant. I've never read anything quite like it, and Keeper and Hollow were incredibly interesting as villains who are not the embodiment of ultimate evil, but rather of greed, hunger, and possession. Everyone was wonderfully in character, and you explained everything fully. The grammar and spelling, though paling in comparison to the depth of the plot, were flawless. Thank you sincerely for not writing in chat speak, or even making any type of gaping misspelling in this story. The length was perfect. The 33 chapters were great, as some took me 3 minutes to read, some much longer. This story only took me about two hours to read, and I thank you, as the author, parting with it at its appropriate conclusion and not making it 75 chapters long, as some authors are prone to do. The vocabulary and imagery were astoundingly good. I could see everything inside my mind, and some parts that can be as insignificant as a sunset required me to reread the section one, two, three times. Thank you for that opportunity. And, above all, thank you for making the story so insightful complex. I had no idea what was to happen, and as you set the genre as 'General', I did not know whether the pro and antagonists would live or die. But, I was never left bored. Not once did you simply write a filler chapter, without a foreshadowing hint or indication of what was to come. Not only did you set up an amazing introduction, you expanded and completed it, and the ending was just as, if not more satisfying, than the exposition. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you. Ironically, it's been somewhere near three years since you wrote this story, but I randomly searched for and found it. If you can be bothered to read this extremely long review, I hope you will have found it satisfactory from a critical perspective (not that I can find any critical points) and praise. This is easily the longest review I have ever written, but it was worth the 15 minutes or so of time to write it, and does not compare to the effort you surely put into this literary masterpiece. Please continue to enrich the world of fan fiction with your fantastic writing, and please believe me when I say this is one of, if not the best, story in any fan fiction section I have ever read. Thank you once again, ChasingProse |
Okami Kage Hachi chapter 33 . 3/15/2009 Great job! And I mean from start to finish. It had the right blend of angst and darkness as well as fluff and drama. And the ending really summed the whole thing up in a clean, satisfying way. Over all, AWESOME JOB. I really hope this review helps bring in more reading traffic so more people can learn of the brilleance that if this story. Sayonara! |
