I liked it a lot, Vi. Some good dialogue and good characterization. In retrospect, the memories might have been 'better' to denote in italics - just to keep things straight. :) I like them together, though. And loved the bit about "be my good buddy Bobby Drake". *giggles*

There are so many things I love about this fic. Your characterisation is perfect. You provide an amazing insight into both Kitty and John. I love that you included Jean, doing something useful other than standing around and looking sad. Your dialogue is written beautifully, and I like the way you put the scenes from past and present together.

Very interesting story. I like the going from past to present parts, made the story more intesresting to read. I'm looking forward to you continuing this but if you don't it's cool too. a powerful story like this can stand on its own.
