That'd suck quite a lot if the Death eaters found. Would it not have made more sense to ask Fawkes to deliver the letter, as a last request? |

| Lerris chapter 1 . 4/6/2011 This is a good start, yet I did notice a couple things. First of all, Dumbledore was an idiot. Its fine, and probably correct, that Harry is in no way ready to face Voldemort, but, the Horcruxes are a pressing matter. They could get moved, and then be impossible to find. He should have assigned a team to deal with them independent of Harry. The other interesting thing was the clause that his teachers probably would not train more than one person. It felt plausible, yet it also felt a bit like an excuse for Harry's training to be by himself. For instance, Hermione might be helpful in the long term, even if she was required to listen, practice on her own, and otherwise not interrupt. |
