Spot on. Many folks seem to forget that the Uchiha and Hyuuga clans were distantly related. The topic was never given much attention in the manga/show. So it's fun to see that play out here. This was so sweet, I wish we had at least some interactions in canon instead of the "they've never even met" absurd scenario. This makes a lot more sense.

This is my second time reading this after years have gone by. It's so cute and so sad on sasukes part. I had tears in my eyes because even though he is an egotistical bastard he used to be a boy hurt by the raw emotions of losing his family. A birthday is to spent with the ones he loves and it broke my heart for him to be content with people who don't really care for him to give him gifts. Hinata is sweet. Love your writing. Great one shot it was so raw and amazing and post more regarding sasuke :)
