i know you said that anything marked 'old' makes you cringe, but i've only just discovered ffvii fics and very much enjoyed 'this day' along with 'after the rain' and 'words' - i also hope that you will add to them someday

i didn't start playing ff until vi and so didn't notice vii until after i finally saw 'advent children' last month ... i've spent the rest of the time trolling for amv's on youtube and digesting the archive

you're fics are among the better ones that i've read and i hope you revisit the vii realm soon

Maybe I'm a little nit-picky, but I think two swear words would qualify this for a T rating.

Good story, though. This one and "Words". Maybe you could write an an alt. universe story of FF7 based off of those two single shots. I know I'd like that.

I really like how you built up tension in this fic, from huffy displeasure to worry to recognition... Aeris not being "oh, it's alright, no need to explain a five-year absence or your catatonic friend" but feeling she DESERVES to know what happened was very much in character, and far more plausible than the instant forgiveness/acceptance most people write.

The way Zack shifts moods is very well done, particularly his reactions to Cloud. There really isn't a selfish bone in him. Just so much love.

And now I'm just helplessly fangirling all over this, so I'll go squeal in private. *grins*

Great story! It's interesting to see what would have happened if Zax made it to Midgar with Cloud. I'm loving both Aeris and Zax in this story. She's strong willed and he's caring and protective. I also think you write well. Nice job, i hope to see more!

I really enjoyed the start, keep it up! The naming of Zack as Zax confused me at first, but I guess it is an AU, so... Anyway, update soon please!

Good job with writing the setting of the scene, a great many of the fan-ficcers here forget about how even a little bit of description goes a long way. I'm guessing calling Zack 'Zax' is part of the reason why this is AU.
