It was an interesting and entertaining story. The plot and characterization were great, but I do have some questions, though; like, why did Sofia get to conduct inview and grill Sara over Luke's death investigation when she herself had a one-night stand with him? Also, I don't get why you used all sorts of adjectives, like lanky, attractive, enigmatic, slender to describe various characters in your stories, but you would use words like African-American, dark-skinned and Asian to describe the visible minorities like Warrick and Archie? I found it...odd.

I loved our sail-into-the-sunset happy ending, but lately I've been missing some GSR. So I've gone back to reading some fanfic. I love this story. You did such a wonderful job with the characters and with Sara's backstory. Thanks for writing GSR. ️

I’ve just found this story. I’ve been missing CSI (old CSI - pre season 9 and all that angst/leaving/divorce crap). So I remembered geekfiction and this place and took it upon myself to find fics I missed out. And boy, am I happy I found this one. You are such a great writer. You masterfully introduced new characters, an intriguing plot, plausible scenarios, made the existent characters sound completely normal. This was genius! I was so sad when I reached the end! I know it’s been quite some time and that the show is long gone, but I do wish you’d consider writing more GSR. I can’t certainly get enough of it!

I liked the backstory you gave Sara, and the different touches you gave her; yet, you still managed to maintain the essence that made who and what Saea was. She's a favorite of mine. Thank you for staying true with her and doing her character justice.
