Very awesome story.

This chapter was a joy and a half. We were shown an entirely different side to Carson when he's going through physio - brilliantly portrayed and seeing McKay was his foil - doubly brilliant. I loved every letter, word and punctuation in this last chapter. Just exceedingly sorry to see it end, though it ended on such a high.

I have to say I am sorry I didn't get tjhe time to read this story before the closing date for the awards. There's no doubt it would have got my vote!

Dr Biro's standing in well for our injured Carson. She appears to know how to handle Rodney nicely.

Oh, we aren't being put out of our misery just yet re Carson's mobility.

The humour is a lovely contrast to all the angst we've been experiencing - the best of it coming from Rodney. He's such a star!

Ah, John's reasons for being so angry have been revealed and it makes sense.

Loved the part where Rodney's state of alertness was revealed - so nicely done.

Okay, Shep's redeemed himself; he's off the hook. Just!

At last - a bit of Shep sympathy. It took a long time in coming so I still have a hankering to give Shep a smack, but it's only a hankering.

It was high maintenance emotion in this chapter requiring lots of tissues!

I'm in awe of how you have managed to include so many elements within this compelling story - even managing to get in a scene with Kavanaugh who is perfect for the role of pushing the knife into Rodney a little deeper and giving it a twist for good measure.

I'm ready to get in line and give John a good head slap. I'm aching for Carson and worried sick for Rodney though I do know John just can't help himself at the moment in this traumatic time when grief is his constant companion.

I'm so enjoying how Radek is shown in this story - he is yet another of those unsung heroes who while enduring Rodney's tantrums, is equally aware of how special he is and in this case, how much he is in need of a friend.

I'm almost too scared to move on to the next chapter! And yet I'm compelled to do so as this story has grabbed me with an intensity that burns deep.

I love your style of writing and hope that when I get to the end of this story (but long may it last) there will be many more to keep me so very happily occupied.

Oh this is killing me. I feel as if I've made the journey with Carson and I'm totally exhausted. And then to have the door open and then close again. I'm trying desperately in my own way to wake Rodney. I know. I know. It's not going to work from my end, but I can't help but get involved!

Oh good grief! I don't know who to feel sorry for most, Carson or Rodney! Thoroughly enjoying your portrayal of Carson too. He is such an integral part of the early SGA (should never have been dropped!) and your storyline reflects this all too well.

Just love the beginning to this story. The dynamics between Shep and McKay is so well presented. Ah, but poor Rodney.
