Just wanted to say that I absolutely love this story. I read "Inconvenient" way back in the day and loved it too, but this was a lovely revision that kept me up late into the night! Your Jack is by far my favourite and the most memorable characterization I've ever found in this fandom - and Winn is just an amazing character.

One can only hope that one day you;ll find your way back into this fandom and post "A New Story."

So... Good... Good. I am enjoying it for the most part. Depp is fucking sexy in the latest movie... Anyways food for thought: Winn could get kidnapped and used for leverage against jack... You know he fights to save her bla bla bla. Also I think she should get him to teach her how to fight. Keep writing...

This has been a very good story to read. I think you did a great job with writing Capt'n Jack's character. My most fav thing about the story for me was the 'bite' jokes. Each time one of those jokes popped up, I laughed even more. So, thank for a great story.

This story (and it's original) is by far one of the best in this fandom. Can we hope for a sequel?

Wow. This is the best Pirates fanfic I've come across in years. I'm only on chapter 8 but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I definitely loved some of the tongue-twister lines you gave Jack. It absolutely sounds just like him. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to keep reading.

I kid you not- several times during the wedding ceremony, I had to turn away from my laptop, collapse onto my back, and laugh until tears were streaming out of my eyes. Glorious. Perfectly glorious.

Alex is astounding. I quite love the extra commentary you've allowed him to have.

I hate weddings, I hate wedding scenes, I hate the sentimentality, but I think it's safe to say that you just wrote the most epic wedding ever. If my wedding was exactly like that, I would have no complaints at all.

"Not that Jack escaped the melee entirely – he got his share of confused hugs from some of the younger children. One tot in particular seemed unusually devoted to trying to separate his arm from his shoulder until Winn scooped the lad up."

You are a goddess. A genius. I vow, I'll give you a more thorough review when I can tear my eyes away long enough, but for now I will say this: years ago, I thought that Inconvenient was the best Pirates of the Caribbean fanfiction I had ever read in my life.

You're proving the former me wrong with this rewrite. Why the hell haven't I gotten around to reading it before now?

Later I'll sing your praises a little more. As for now, I've already nearly destroyed my laptop by spitting coffee out all over the screen multiple times, and I'd like to get back to attempting to stifle my laughter at the brilliant banter here.

That is a terrible place to stop, you know? So you really should ammend this by posting another chapter. As in, now. Anywho, I read this story the first time around and loved it, and now I'm loving the revisions! Can't wait to read more :D

Wow...can I just applaud you once more for writing a terrific story featuring the lovable Jack Sparrow? Cause this was incredible, and I loved the deviation from the original just as much as I enjoyed the original. It was powerful and humorous with a touch of depth to both the main characters that made them more and more intriguing as time passed.

I am in awe of your use of dialogue. First of all, I'm in awe of anyone who can write Jack in any kind of dialogue, especially when he gets going and weaves webs around people with his circular reasoning. But you do it with finesse and make him sound so Jack-like that I can barely tell where his movie character left off and his fanfic one began (except for the fact that film is definitely a different medium than print-haha). And then to add in such a captivating character as Winn is and to still make her interesting and able to handle Jack's complexities...it's just great.

I love this story, and I'm so glad that I read it! I can't wait to read the sequel and see what other hilarious troubles our adorable duo gets into! Lovely job, and I'm very impressed.

Ok, so I'll have to ask your forgiveness on this random review, but I wanted to point out how utterly amused I was at reading Winn's reply to Elizabeth in this chapter. First off, I've read 'Inconvenient' and loved it, and now I'm reading this (after letting my first reading of your other story wear off a considerable amount of time so I wouldn't be comparing the two). It's fascinating how you changed the story yet left the bones of it almost completely intact. I'm in awe and thoroughly pleased with how this story is shaping up.

Now, onto my personal amusement at this chapter. I laughed when I saw Winn reply to Elizabeth 'I admit to nothing but I may have deserved that.' The irony inherent in that statement is so stark when you consider the fact Jack isn't around. I loved it, and I thought it a rather brilliant statement. So, kudos to you! All right, that's all I wanted to say... I'll probably leave you another, more comprehensive review once I've finished reading this story, but I'm thoroughly impressed and going to go read the next chapter now!

Words simply cannot express how much I admire your writing. I absolutely adored Inconvenient and Caught By The Past and this one is just fantastic. Winn is such a likeable, real character and I love how you manage to keep Jack in character. I'm also astounded by the amount of detail and the effort to be historically accurate. That really makes the stories so much better. Anyways, thanks for the stories. They were both hilarious and charming and I hope that you write more soon.

Wow, this chapter nearly got tears in my eyes. I have been reading ever since I found your story a month-or so- ago and I absolutly love it. It's possibly the best one I have read yet. It's very real, i love your descriptions and your new characters- and old ones- the characters are really well done. I am very excited to read more, I love your story.
