Lovely. I felt Harry's despair at thinking the stupid war robbed him of even the simple pleasure of dating a boy he likes. You evoked so much feeling in your descriptions.

I'm really enjoying this story. it is dragged out & is very welk written . Wine on their date!? Really . 6th year; they are 16. Shouldn't be served alcohol ; UK drinking age is 18. Unless in wizarding world they serve minors. Other than that loving it.

Love your story & writing style, but one thing is annoying me. Okay annoying is a strong word, more a slight niggle. This is set 6th year? Then Harry couldn't unlock Draco's door or use magic to read his mind. As they are 16 (6th year students ) cannot do magic in school holidays; not until they are 17. Phew with that said, I like this story. Good so far.

Seems like a oneshot,but I'm really glad it's not.

This is a great story. I like that the title and theme revolves around Draco's ability to maintain pride and dignity, despite his losses and privation - and Harry's great respect for him because of it. (My interpretation anyway).

And I swear, to this day the line describing Harry's 5th year as - "Harry could spend this entire year dipped in dragon dung and lit on fire…and it would still be better than the last one." - friggin cracks me up :)
