Haha! This is brilliant.

I'm not generally a rabid Jack/Sam shipper...I mean, it's cute, but I like Stargate specifically for the team, and who ends up with who isn't nearly so important to me as well written team stuff and banter...but you've managed to give me all of that AND a really cute Sam and Jack story that actually had me shipping them the whole way through (and if you know me, that's HARD to do!). Kudos for that, and this really was lovely. Everyone was in character - the Atlantis characters too! - and it was a really nice, wonderful moment for everyone. Cassie never failed to make me laugh. Jack's thought process was amazing... and this line was my absolute favorite...

"After dessert was served, Jack started getting nervous. He had to make his speech next. "O'Neill, I have heard if you imagine the audience in their underwear you will not be nervous," Teal'c offered quietly."

The whole story was a fun read, but the last two lines made me laugh loudly enough to startle my cat. Good stuff.

Oh, this was just great. Well written, funny and serious in all the right places. Jack's speech was very much in character and while I don't personally think they'd have gotten married so quickly, it does work for the story:)
