I know you wrote and posted this 14 years ago, but I saw a recce for it recently,and I am glad I read it. IT went right where it should have, and ended exactly where it needed to. A lovely little story.

How in the world could you capture Harry and Hermione so perfectly even in this small convo? Harry, honestly, is a creep but so in character at the same time lol! But in that final convo and moment it’s classic Harry and Hermione. That nonverbal communication...the shyness yet bravery from Hermione. The innocent friendship...I feel as if all the elements are there about what makes this pairing so natural.
