One percent chapter 1 . 12/1/2015 That was fantastic on so many levels! Intense and emotionally charged. I've never thought of this couple before, but now I can't unthink it! |
bleggh chapter 1 . 7/18/2012 No... Did Misa write Matt's name or hers? Oh man, this was beautiful, and fantastic, and I can't even... It was breathtaking, your writing is sure as hel s. you deserve a beautiful award for this. Fantastic. I loved how you wrote Misa and Matt, just wonderful. :") |
Cutiecat chapter 1 . 7/13/2012 That... was incredibly depressing... But well-written... Very well-written... _ |
glossier chapter 1 . 4/10/2012 i have chills. |
SylverEyes chapter 1 . 8/26/2008 Wow, that was deep. I really liked it too, it was like the two of them were substituting each other for the people who they really wanted. And in that, they managed to care about each other, somehow. Even though that didn't make up for what they had lost. They dug their own graves, didn't they? The day that Misa asked Matt to help with her luggage, the day that Matt couldn't say no. And still, I love the two of them together. Talk about a twisted relationship, huh? And creepiness way at the end there. Misa had finally snapped, I'm thinking. At least she was happy. O_o I think. Anyways, this was a great piece of writing, and I love it! You've got a knack for putting the two of them together in believable ways. Awesome job. |
WithABunny chapter 1 . 6/10/2008 Whoa. In a good way, this was incredibly disturbing. By the way, was the ending meant to be ambiguous? I'm trying to figure out what exactly is going on; is she saying that she's going to kill herself, or did she only just snap? |
TrillCat chapter 1 . 3/31/2008 i like this pairing. and i like the way you wrote it. and i hate the way misa idolizes light even in death. |
Rai Liddle chapter 1 . 2/18/2008 I love your work and I will say a lot about that someday...but right now, would you let me translate to spanish language this? o.o |
blaqkout chapter 1 . 9/10/2007 This is more than amazing. |
phoenix of hell chapter 1 . 8/30/2007 This is so... so, I can't even describe it, but I'll just settle for awesome. Not enough of a word, though. So dramatic, so much angst, and sadness, with two persons who have nothing left, and the ending was brilliant! |
Mariagoner chapter 1 . 12/22/2006 Oh my god, that was disturbing. And I thought I could write angst well...! |
Anony Miss chapter 1 . 7/17/2006 Thank you. This was wonderful. I loved the ending. I understood it. Poor misguided Misa. Poor misguided Matt. Beautiful. |
Fancy chapter 1 . 7/2/2006 What an idea! This pairing is so interesting. You mention slight MattxMello, and although I wouldn't have picked it up as a pairing as such if you hadn't mentioned it, it's interesting to think of Misa and Matt using each other as poor substitutes. It's such an interesting idea, and it's very well executed here. I love the imagery in the parenthesis. I had one I really liked, but scanning again I can't find it-something about the rosary. Also, this line-"Death without her lover, dead without her lover." Striking. The reviewer before me mentioned the one use of "I" rather than "he," but when I read it I wasn't sure if it WAS a typo. The ending... I'm not sure I understand. If I DO understand, I have to say that it's the only part of the story I'm not particularly fond of. It feels a little rushed, maybe, and not really quite *complete,* although I'm not sure why. Other than that, this is awesome. Thank you. |
Innocence Within chapter 1 . 6/29/2006 I thought this was a wonderful read, even if the pairing is unusual. (Unusual pairings are always fun to read, especially in the Death Note fandom, because it's a break from the usual LightxL fanfics.) I love your usage of the phrases in the brackets and that the fact that it's a different pairing but a het pairing, which seems to be a tad lacking in the fandom. The only thing I can nitpick is: "(Mello called her an idiot and I called her hot just to get on his nerves)" since it refers to Matt in first person, and I'm pretty sure that the rest of the phrases in brackets used third person. I hope you write more in the future! *adds this to favourites* |
