ijustsailedaway chapter 33 . 2/13 Hesperides’ Apple deserves a thorough review chapter by chapter but I’m sorry I went ahead and read as fast as I could until my eyes hurt and I had to settle with Siri reading it aloud. I wish I could construct the perfect english to describe how wonderful your story was; from the unique title, ingenious plot twists to your magical descriptive form of writing. I haven’t read anything like it and I thoroughly enjoyed this AU of brilliance you created. I was honestly expecting the ending to be tragic but was glad that it turned out great for everyone. Amidst the extreme loss of life, lies and painful misconceptions created by the war, truly, the hardest part was letting go of revenge. Ginny’s acceptance of Draco’s part in her family’s demise was beyond holy, as well as Pansy’s unwillingness to reconcile with Ginny’s far relation with her sister’s death was justifiable. I am not sure where other fics I’ve read about a magical society’s slow death when divided but I still find this original. I assume Narcissa’s gotten her treatment since she was still present int he epilogue 7 years later. I appreciate that you did not amend with a sickly rainbow of forgiveness the realities in relationships built upon deceit and long-standing animosity, that it stayed that way as much we all want peace. Maybe it was just me and my present situation but I felt a lot for most of the dialogues. I felt that the story was quiet but engaging. Your expansive knowledge of different cultures and places were delightful, and your author’s note references are appreciated (and I learned a lot). And before I forget, your naming abilities are on par with j.k.! Hihi. Thank you so much for finishing this beautiful story. You are a wonderful writer! |
Guest chapter 15 . 7/5/2019 wow *sarcastic voice* dirty brown men of color raping a pure blooded blonde haired white woman. how original. /end sarcasm. |
Guest chapter 19 . 7/10/2016 wow, i really don't want to say anything horrible about this but why are the dark skinned men always violent/rapists (especially to other white women) its racist and gross. otherwise this is a really nice fic. |

Guest chapter 33 . 1/7/2013 You are one AMAZING story teller. There were almost no flaws to me. It wasn't superficial as fan fiction usually is. This story was as detailed as one of J.K.'s own. Keep doing what your doing. You had great ideas and the way you linked everything together was completely impeccable, including using different cultural influences. I am very impressed! |

Twilight9294 chapter 33 . 12/30/2010 WONDERFUL STORY! normally i cant read such a long story, but I had a hard time staying away from this one. You are a very good writer, and it was nice that you put you own twist into the story, because I have read so many D/G stories that all seem to be variations of each other. The only thing I didnt like so much was that you jumped from them hating each other to being in love right after Draco showed Ginny his memories in the pensive. Although, adding that might have just made the story wayyyy to long. Great story though! |
