I like how this story revolves around a stronger bond that Naruto and Sasuke form in the aftermath of their battle and what I enjoyed is how you went into detail of the...breaking of Sasuke's body by Naruto. Not too many stories have expanded on Naruto's little promise to break every bone in his body.

The pace of the story seems a bit slow, in my opinion, and there just isn't enough, to me, to keep readers interested. Possibly if you expanded on the battle mechanics and made the fights a bit longer, then I could see this becoming more epic, even though you've labeled it as a 'General' fiction. Anyway, it IS your story, so I shouldn't tell you how to write it, but I think it holds a lot of promise based off of the excellent job you did on the first chapter.

While I don't require constant (or any) action in a story, when done right it's a lot of fun. And you did it right.

I was going to say something about Sasuke having the Chakra to use the Chidori three times in a row, but since you had it knock him out, I won't say anything. So I've just said nothing at all. :P

I'm curious about what the repercussions of using the Curse Seal will be, even using it for so short a time. Was Sakura able to feel anything from Sasuke's drawing on the power?

Speaking of Sakura... That was so mean. -_- What happened with her, if anything? I kind of feel like the guy was boasting, since I figure Sakura would have been closer to Tsunade then Naruto and Sasuke were to Jiraiya, but that's not for certain.

A fun read. This story definitely belongs in my second tier of favorites. (The first tier is rather exclusive, consisting mostly of fics by S'TarKan, Ozzallos, Rorschach's Blot, and others of their skill)

I really liked the ending where they’re learning how to alter their jutsus. That was fun. :)

Though… I don’t really like the fact that Jiraiya is training Sasuke as well as Naruto. Aside from Jiraiya, Naruto hasn’t had anyone that’s taught /him/, specifically. So Sasuke being there doesn’t really sit well with me. (I do know that Jiraiya won’t ignore one to train the other of course.)

I’m looking forward to seeing what ideas they come up with for altering their jutsu. _
