Aunty Soshul chapter 1 . 5/3/2011 3 ADORATION. The conversation was epic. EPIC. I loved those last few lines; GOD SUBARU! Just through dialogue you were able to pull out that bit of him that just aches and makes me ache because it's all so helpless! T.T |
Summer Memory chapter 1 . 11/23/2008 So well-written and in-character!Very good, i like the way you portrayed their relationship,,seishiro mock and flirt yet so scary in a particular way,,subaru is calm but he is so fragile and withdrawn, unsure of himself... Really really like it,,i don't know if people like to look their relationship in a sappy romantic way better, but i personally prefer this way,,still left unexplained, questions are unanswered and things are just unspoken yet told,, thanks for sharing, |
Idiotic.0wl chapter 1 . 6/1/2007 I loves it! It's so interesting, and kinda ironic, too. I think you have their personalities down wonderfully. I don't really think I'd say they get OoC towards the end, but just beyond the point of pretending... I think. But it doesn't really matter what I think, since it's your story D D great job! |
Idiotic Owl chapter 1 . 3/10/2007 omg I love this fic. There's not really much else to say. You have their characters down so well I can't even find a way to describe it. It's just... perfect. That's really all I can say. I didn't really feel any ooc, maybe just a little from Sei at the end, but even then, you write it so well that it fits right in with his peronality. You're a awesome writer! D |
Momo714 chapter 1 . 2/6/2007 I'm just devouring all your fanfiction xD You write such amazing Seishiro/Subaru fics *_* The dialogue in this one was particularly... right. You've just got their characters down. I didn't find either of them to be OOC at all _ |
Hellcat81 chapter 1 . 9/18/2006 omg, that was very good! but what happened in the end? did subaru die or did they "make up"...? very mysterious. good ending though. |
Hatori Soma chapter 1 . 7/10/2006 FINISH ALREADY! gees, what happened to Subaru? and what will Sei chan do about it? |
Amy Levi chapter 1 . 7/5/2006 I really enjoyed this. You captured the dark, complex nature of their relationship just fine, and to manage that just by writing a conversation (and a little violence) in an elevator is quite an achievement. The setting is a good idea, very interesting. Thumbs up! |
Redrose Moon chapter 1 . 7/1/2006 OMGOSH THAT WAS SO GOOD! is it a oneshot? well..it was written really good...very Clamp like...i think thats the highest praise i can give it. If you re wrote some scenes, don't feel dissapointed because I think it is perfect. And that is some elevator ride, but luv it very much. Somehow a bit all too real...especially the breaking arm. |
Mr. Shishio chapter 1 . 7/1/2006 I loved this. Subaru and Seishirou have such a warped and complex relationship, and I think you captured it perfectly in this one scene. |
Arcuna chapter 1 . 7/1/2006 Well, I don't know why you thought I wouldn't like this-it was very well written, and even though I've not yet seen Tokyo Babylon or X/19, I was nonetheless sucked in. From the very first paragraph, I had a clear image in my mind of what was going on and what must have been going through Subaru's head. Also, as we already discussed, the two run on sentences were done very nicely, and as long as you can pull them off, there's no problem with them. The elevator setting was actually a really good choice. Even if for no other reason than that a meeting between them wouldn't have otherwise happened, it set the scene for their relationship and you pulled it off excellently. You drew out the fact that Subaru felt uncomfortable (and justifiably so) around Seishirou, and that Seishirou loved to toy with him. It's clear that he waited for a moment just like this, in which Subaru would have to deal with him, to confront him, and their dialogue was reasonable and believable. Just from conversation alone you were able to draw out both the characters' personalities and their attitudes toward each other without any unnecessary or unrealistic violence; Having them break out into a magic duel would have greatly detracted from the fluidity of the story. To be honest, I think the small amount of action was perfect. You did an excellent job of driving the piece with dialogue and Subaru's sleep-deprived thought alone, and the part in which Seishirou grabs his arm is (I'd imagine) very true to his character, at least from what you've told me. And yeah, the "iron grip" line was cheesy, but it worked. Mechanically speaking, the story was flawless, save for a missing space after a period that I'm too lazy to find, and your mastery of language and imagery was a priceless tool in writing this. I also wanted to thank you for not ending the story with, "And then Subaru was a zombie." Okay, I'm cutting it off here because you're tired. But now that you've linked me here, I'm gonna read your other fanfics, too, and I WON'T laugh at them because they AREN'T bad, 'kay? |
Elithia chapter 1 . 6/30/2006 A really nice fic! can see the writter's efforts from between each line. an exprimental fic successfully hold my breath from first line to the last. |
0ri chapter 1 . 6/28/2006 E you did a great job with this. D They were both nicely in character. And the writing in itself was enjoyable, and very well done. |
Kara Marie chapter 1 . 6/28/2006 Hmm. Dark but very interesting! Don't worry, the fact that they were in an elevator the whole time seemed very plausible (at least to me!) Stories like this make me want to just... strangle Seishirou, argh, can't he be HUMAN once in a while? And poor Subaru *cuddles Subaru*... anyways, I really enjoyed it, keep up the good work! Too bad this is a one-shot... Evil Seishirou (Don't worry, I still love you! XD) Midori-chan will calm down now... Great read! |
