This is a wonderful story, but deaf people are capable of communicating in full sentences. The way you have presented the speech is difficult to follow and makes deaf people appear simple, which they are not.

This is a great story! I really enjoyed. I liked the way you displayed the personalities of the characters. While Jack and Sue are without a doubt my favourite characters, I have a soft spot for stories that show Myles' soft spot. I have to sgree with his assessment, sign language really is a beautiful language. The history about the deaf people that the ladies told very fasinating! I plan to read more about them. Wonderful story!
