Yeah. I remember Shimmer. She is extremely bad news of the worst sort. Any supervillain that has TRULY learned the ins and outs of her power is nearly a force of nature. And she qualifies.

Maybe if Jen hadn't been having such a rough day ...

I have read this before, probably just after you finished it. I know it's been a while. But, unaccountably and unforgivably, I didn't leave a review. That was WRONG.

This incarnation of Jinx is solid, 24kt GOLD. She's about as perfect as any I've ever seen. You SERIOUSLY do not want to get on her bad side, as Tom learned to his eternal regret.

There's so much here that begs for more. So many tantilizing little pieces, half remembered half unfamiliar I feel lost and adrift. It's good to see more coming out but I feel as if I need to reread the story to this point just to get my bearings after this wholey emotionally charged chapter.
