Oh, wow. I've never given much thought to how Rose's mortality played into the relationship between her and the Doctor... but this really shed some light on how it might be for me.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this. This was one of the most amazing, emotionally envoking, well written stories i have read in a VERY long time. It made me laugh, and cry, and actually think about the characters of the Doctor and Rose, something which virtually no other fic's have been able to do. I loved it, especially this section:

She shrugs. "Then we could... We could see how it goes. I have time. We could take it slow."

'He steps up to her this time, putting his thumb on her lips. "Time's got you. You don't have time. So little time, Rose. Blink of an eye, end of a century."

When he kisses her, it is very controlled and very careful, but it is a kiss, and it is his, and she feels like she's won something.

She's not sure what.'

There are no words but these are too good not to review. I like your ending better than the official one. Maybe it would be kinder to die by the doctors side than go back to living on one planet forever without him. Maybe not. What has this review even got to do with anything anyway?

Oh, God. This story made me do everything from crack up laughing to burst into tears. It was so incredibly, beautifully written, every single word. Absolutely adored it, if I can adore something that made me so sad.
