Oh my god, that was so sad ;_; and I entirely agree with the scene being hurried. This fic though was amazing!

Wow. Um...I don't even know where to begin! This was just fantastic, gorgeous, brilliant. One of those precious, rare jewels on this site. Your characterizations were so spot-on I felt the movie characters come to life, and your writing is smooth and enjoyable. That one instant where Mystique slides on Magneto's coat and the ensuing banter when Magneto catches her at it is...absolutely perfect. I found myself rereading that section over and over again. What an insight into their relationship!

And the next half of this was such a tear-jerker. I cried when I saw it on the screens, and I cried even harder when reading this. I really wish I could give more constructive feedback. In fact, after reading this last night, I purposefully didn't review yet, waiting until my thoughts had cleared and I could think through everything more thoroughly before taking the jump, but even now, all I can is just "Wow." I'm in awe.

i have to agree with you, i thought that scene was... well, i don't want to insult you if you don't like foul language, so exactly what i thought of that scene shall remain unsaid. but you get the point. it was completely against what we've seen of magneto previously. however, i did like that he lost his powers too in the end - the irony is beautiful. that could have been the point, adding that bit of irony. great story though, and it's too bad this is a one-shot.

I love Erik's dialogue when he confronts Mystique over the coat. You write him so well, I can picture him in my mind. He jumps off the page. You definitely did the coat justice. I'm just happy I helped to make this happen.
