Ancalime1 chapter 1 . 10/25/2015 I love how you illustrated Miriel's flight from the palace. Her last prayer is hauntingly beautiful. |
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 3/8/2010 A great story. Very well written. |
Alquawende chapter 1 . 6/15/2009 Anything about Miriel is quite tragic I think. I like the insight you've given into Miriel's mind. The inclusion of Earendur was nice. He gave a ray of light and hope into Miriel's dark life. The addition of Faramir waking up from the above was clever, especially since it was Faramir who always had dreamt of Numenor, as it says in the books. Thanks for writing! |
MiniFruitbat chapter 1 . 8/25/2006 Beautifully written. I wish I had the patience to lug ALL the way through the Silmarillion so I could enjoy this to it's full extent. |
Nesta chapter 1 . 6/18/2006 I think this is beautiful. NĂºmenor always felt very remote to me, and difficult to care about compared with Middle Earth (which is 'home') and all the dear people in it, but you really make NĂºmenor matter, as it obviously did to Faramir. By the way, is this baby already born, or on the way? If the latter, how do they know it's going to be a girl? If the former, why hasn't she been named yet? |
lindahoyland chapter 1 . 6/14/2006 A very touching story. |
Raksha The Demon chapter 1 . 6/14/2006 What a lovely story! Many have written of Faramir's dream of the wave that drowned Numenor, but rarely (if ever) do I see one that delineates an actual connection with the people of the lost island. I assume that young Earendur is the ancestor of the House of Hurin - his connection to Miriel is a lovely touch. Well done. |
