Wow. I really love the concept of the story. I feel so bad for Sakura. I can't wait to read more :-)

Update? Please sometime?

Long long ago. I read this story and it was one of my favorites ever. Today, I am here again. The autumn leaves are blown away by a harsh wind and my tears... are caught on the spiderwebs on this chapter. Not an update to console me... nor an author's note to give me hope...

*turns away tearfully*

I may have reviewed before but if I have not then shame on me because this is my second time reading this story and usually I don't read seconds but it's been a while and (I secretly still hold out hope for your return ]: )

I absolutely love, love the premise. At first I thought it was just going to be another angst-ridden arranged marriage but while there is tension, this is about a political conspiracy and character development. The latter of which I adooore. You captured Sakura's whining and scared personality PERFECTLY. It scratched and screeched against my nerves and reminded me of her younger days in the series but I think it is very realistic. In fact, I'm surprised she was interested in weaponry and fighting at all, especially since with her 'canon'-personality, she was more impressionable and hence, followed the tide of gender roles more easily. But for the sake of the story, I can see why you did that.

That short glimpse you gave us of Sasuke's POV made me laugh. He definitely sounds more childish and irritated than what he outwardly portrays. I like that because it serves as a reference point to compare to for how he will change later on (or well, at this point, never since I don't know if this story will ever go on...) I don't think he was OOC at all in this chapter because at the point when he insisted, strangely enough, that he would be the one to take Sakura back, I wondered what was up immediately. From your writing and how you plan things, superficial gestures all seem to have some ulterior motive. Others who are more romantically inclined might say that he's finally getting a taste of jealousy but I don't think so. If only I knew what you had plan for us all along.

Naruto, without a doubt, you got his whole package down, ramen and all. How he dresses (sloppily), how he eats (the rice trails), and even how he trains (through experience rather than through the formal regime of basics first) - that is so him. There is more of course but I think you get the point since you -are- the one who wrote him.

I also appreciated how you have implemented the different customs of the villages. How certain cultures are more advanced than others. The chapter with the traditions completely got me - when Sakura did not understand what was going on and she got the rude awakening that her value is undermined, solely because of her gender. The part where Ino languidly told Sakura that 'men like their women skinny' as if it's a normal and completely acceptable fact ... you didn't even have to say it, but just through words alone I could taste her bitterness. Not only is that something that the canon Ino -would- say but it shows how their society is like (and ours, too), how restrained females are, and how different Ino and Sakura is. Sakura, having grown up with different customs, is still so innocent. She eats however much she wants and then when she's thrown into the ring of wolves, she tries to frantically turn her sheep skin inward. Watching her slowly grow and fight against these norms (and her fears) - her growth had barely begun and you had stopped.

It is quite unfortunate that you fell out of love with this fandom. It was more than just a fanciful story written for your fanciful whims. There were things to learn for readers, there was a world that reflected our real world even in this day and age, and just - sigh, thanks for sharing and keeping this up here regardless. I hope you had continue to write all these years, even if it's not here.

Oooooh, I know what's going to happen :D I love what you have going on and the clear differences in Sakura's land and Sasuke's. Show them what you got, Sakura!

This is a very interesting story line. I was looking forward to see the continuation but the inactivity makes me a little skeptical.

This is honestly a very interesting story. But I guess there isn't going to be any updates for it. Too bad, it has such a nice plot. But 6 years with no updates kind of leaves me disappointed. Regardless, thank you for the amazing 8 chapters. I really liked reading it. :)
