This is a really great story and I enjoyed it immensely. I'm happy that it narrowly averted the downer ending, but I did feel like perhaps it could have used a bit more of a denoument.

I read this story years ago, half finished, and was really annoyed it wasn't done yet. You finished it really, really well. Good job! I hope you continue writing. Possibly even a sequel?

i had a random thought of su having an idea and taking some of keitaros immortal thingy

its found out its a advanded ki/chi(whatever) technice and a ki donation could get back motoko hand

course there are conditions like say keitaru an motoko have to marry or something

just some random thoughts

Random, the story is alright, but the themes you used to set the tone for the peace is what made it what it was. Even though the descriptions were so intentionally rough for effect, the overall mood of the story was increasingly downbeat. As a result, the feeling invoked was something akin to reading a downward spiral only to realize that it was actually going up the whole time.

There was character chemistry developed where I only thought there was individual development, there was a reason for what I thought was madness, and, most importantly, there was simply something there for the reader to grasp when I was ready for a cheap point to be made for the sake of having a moral to the story.

Of course, I would have liked to see more of this just to see some more character interaction, but it's alright. I initially expected the ending to be rushed and cheesy, but you did an outstanding job. Even though it was abrupt, it was subtle in terms of delivery and worked well as the conclusion for what was a story that never really screamed anything at the reader.

I'm so very glad that you haven't given up writing, you're one of my favortie authors on here. I checked your account every month or so to see if you had updated, since it had been almost a year, and i'm happy that you did. I'm a huge fan, and I look forward to seeing more of your stories up here, I think I have most of yours saved to my desktop so I can read them when I travel. I would like to see the alternate ending to this as well, they sound like they could be interesting.

Considering your output has slowed practically to zero, would it be safe to assume you've pretty much retired from writing fanfiction? If so, then I'd like to take this time to thank you for your many years of great stories here at and elsewhere. I still remember starting off on "Crimson & Azure" nearly ten years ago (BTW, whatever happened to "Lonely Hearts"? I can't find it anywhere on the web.). Good luck on any of your future ventures.

I think my previous reviews have probably covered my opinions on this fic fairly well already. Still, being a fan of Random's works I feel obligated to review. So, in summary, I can't say it would show up on my list of favorites (or even on my list of favorite Random1377 works), but hey, it's finally done! Without this one hanging over head maybe things will pick up again.
