So true...Percy probably would have done better in Hufflepuff, but I think it all came down to his family being Gryffindors for generations. He would have stood out, well more, in his family. I think it makes sense since he worked hard for his achievements. A nice fic and it was great to view the Sorting Hats thoughts.

That was amazing. It must have taken a lot of thought to make that Hat's monologue, especially the part about the founders. As for Percy being in Hufflepuff, it would probably have been better for him because he would have developed in a different way. I think that's what your trying to get at in the story.

Percy a Hufflepuff? I am not so sure there... it might have worked, but wouldn't Ravenclaw have been better for him? what's you thoughts about why Hufflepuff? (I like Hufflepuff and I like Percy... but in my mind both does not seem to go well together...)

It was cool, refreshing and interesting to read the story from the Sorting Hat's perspective. Very original!

It's true though... Percy really could belong anywhere... He's courageous (well, kinda), ambitious (duh), smart (more duh) and hard-working (but perhaps not meek/humble, like most Hufflepuffs are). But anyway... I think while it might improve Percy's haughty demeanor, it might actually destroy him much quicker (If the rest of my family was sorted into one house, and I to another 'wimpy' (Hufflepuff), 'know-it-all' (Ravenclaw) or 'evil' (Slytherin) house, my family members are likely to give me grief about it. We all know how nasty the twins and Ron could be to Percy.) So I'm not entirely sure that the results would have been a 100% positive if Percy was in another house. But it's just me.

Great fic! Hope you write more Percy or Ron stuff!
