PheonixQueen15 chapter 1 . 4/1/2019 This is awesome and very bittersweet! |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/5/2017 This IS great! I like the point of life being slower-paced in Narnia. I relate to that, as I am a slower-paced person. |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/21/2016 I agree with the others upon this. You've done an absolutely fantastic job. |
Chaoshift chapter 1 . 12/27/2015 Excellent rendition of the Pevensive children. Edmund's melancholia reminded me of all those people dreaming of adventure. We read, because another world waits within the words. |
Wildrop chapter 1 . 3/27/2015 Lovely. Thanks for writing! |
Hannah Lynn McDonald chapter 1 . 3/26/2014 Oh, overwhelmingly good! I love this story! It's so sweet, yet sad as well. It inspires strength and longing-homsickness for a world of legends. This is a gem. Thank you so much for sharing it! |
Shadowcatisajerk chapter 1 . 6/7/2012 Great idea of Edmund as the family historian, always seeing both good and bad, since that was his calling. Intersting take on the aftermath of their Narian years, I think I like it better than the cannon version where they just sort of forget about everything that happened and go back to being kids. |
Reader's daughter chapter 1 . 8/23/2011 that was marvelous, truly great piece of writing |
ShadowsofNyx chapter 1 . 9/18/2010 Good! Good, good, good, good, good. Totally gets into Edmund's head. Love ya |
Ancient and Forever chapter 1 . 1/16/2010 This is brilliant - completely and utterly brilliant. A wonderful underscore of melancholy makes the whole thing fantastic. Theres one issue :) and im sorry to point it out, but the pedant in me is completely irresistable. Narinia is to the north of Calormen (your story seems to imply that its to the south) and as afar as I recall there is no coast in Archenland. Regardless though this is superb - i wish i could emulate it, but I'd just end up copying you now... thanks a lot for this |
Abby Ebon chapter 1 . 6/20/2009 I've a challenge for you, it might just be for my own amusement, but take it or leave it as is - I want to know what the other three see in Narnia. You've obviously identified with Ed, and that's fine, but I'm really quite curious to know if you would do it - and if it would be the same or different then what you've done with Ed. One a more personal note, in life, I believe that if you don't live as Edmund does (by being, by breathing, by experiencing, and seeing) well, are you really living at all? I'd think the answer to my challenge, to write what the others feel of Narnia, of family, of home, would start to answer that. Of course, there are other ways to live, but - it seems you've put me in a mood for psychology - because I wonder if living any other way would be worth it. It might, it might not, but writing is a way of wondering about the world, is it not? |
Aslan's Lamb chapter 1 . 5/27/2009 I love your unusual take on this. I love the way you characterized Edmund. I love your story. |
DreamFlyer chapter 1 . 5/27/2009 Good or bad? Are you KIDDING ME? This is GREAT! I love it, you have really made it real and down to earth. And so.. Edmund. LOVE IT! Your craftsmanship is incredible. Dreamwings |
Copper Kestrel chapter 1 . 11/14/2008 Oh, very nice! Lovely portrayal of Edmund, who always has been my favourite Narnia character. I loved the repetition throughout, as it tied it together nicely, and gave it a real rhythm when one was reading it. And I love the third to last paragraph, with Edmund supporting Susan even if he didn't agree with her - I thought that was lovely! All-in-all, a very nice portrayal of Edmund, and the way his mind works. I'll definitely have to go read some of your other stuff. |
notagoodplace4gods chapter 1 . 6/25/2008 extremely good! |
