Reviews for Solitary Confinement
sylvia.przychodzki chapter 1 . 9/14/2013
Very nicely done! It's realistic that Hermione and Harry would worry about Ron and that Ron would need to work out his emotions from time to time.
A Crow on the Wall chapter 1 . 4/23/2013
Awww... Sweet and sad at once. I'm sorry they couldn't wait for Dee though, I would have like to read more about him. In any case, it's a very touching follow-up, thank you for writing it!
Vanessa chapter 1 . 1/11/2013
Shari,
So I kinda have a theory relating to ESSM... I believe that Ron survived Beachy Head because as he saw flickers of his past, he had been wishing that he could slow down to see it, and he unwittingly preformed wandless magic, just like young witches and wizards do before learning to channel it as they grow older. Would you happen to agree with this, or am I just being mental; reading way too much into it? I kinda thought that it was weird that no-one wondered how Ron slowed down enough to survive. Ignore this if it was explained in ESSM and I missed it. It's entirely possible, seeing as how I read ESSM throughout the day as I spent time with my husband and kids. Just thought I'd ask.

This was a great follow up, to show us all that Ron is working on opening up still, that he wasn't magically "all better" once he settled into his new life, he has made great strides, but he's still working on himself, and that Jo will never be forgotten. Also, would you know how I can go about getting a beach room of my own? I could sure use one. hahaha

rainbowlollipops15 chapter 1 . 1/9/2013
i swear, this series blew my mind. I sound like a broken record, but this story is truly a brilliant piece of work

PS: and from your last A/N in the other story, I know what you mean about S instead of Z. Its so frustrating! :P
Blueberry Babe chapter 1 . 6/19/2012
Thanks.
DerangedxandxSarcastic chapter 1 . 9/1/2010
I like this. Even after a year things aren't perfect but they're getting better. It's nice that Jo still means so much to Ron and Dee and I find it very sweet that Dee is really a friend to them all and not just to Ron now. Brilliant job on this, I kind of figured the pomegranate would be a part of this.
The Musings of Artemis chapter 1 . 7/8/2009

Wow it's Midnight and I just finished both stories you write so well I really connected with the characters and went through it with them you should actually write something like this and Publish it. WOW!
Cymbeliness chapter 1 . 4/19/2009
What a nice companion piece! I'm so glad I got to read it!
plotbunniofdoom chapter 1 . 11/3/2008
"Don’t worry about it mate," Harry grinned from across the table, "That’s why Neville and Dee made the beach room for you in the first place, so we always know where to find you when you’re lost."

*sniffs*

You got me again.

Great trio moments in this. It's a lovely way to end it. And nice to know that Jo isn't forgotten.

*has sudden craving for pomegranate*
iriepotter chapter 1 . 8/11/2008
That was a good follow up to the originl story- I now want a pomegrante! ( I actually grew up eating them)
jojobevco chapter 1 . 5/28/2008
Good conclusion
tanpopo no hana chapter 1 . 10/1/2007
Sweet! A little sad, but sweet none the less. I was a little sad Dee didn't make an appearance, but just the trio again was nice too.

I really want to try a pomegranate now. Never ate one before...

Oh, and didn't you mean Luna's 'Ravenclaw' hat, not 'Gryfindor' ?
peacegirl chapter 1 . 8/7/2007
Weird. I'm not sure if I like the unstable Ron.
Raven Wolfmoon chapter 1 . 12/2/2006
A perfect epilogue for the story. You were leading on all the readers from the beginning, in thinking that Ron was going to do something horrible to himself. I'm glad that it didn't happen like I thought it would! I'm so happy that Ron's happy too; now he can really get over things, and move on and accept Jo's death. Those two really are similar...

As for the writing itself, I'll use a new word 'impeccable'. I love the way you can write simple sentences but have them convey so much. In some of my stories, I write so many details of how people are reacting, that it just detracts from how I want the readers to feel. You have the remarkable ability to write things short and sweet that get across exactly what you wanted to, and in a way that at least I can see in mind's eye perfectly. Everything goes in such a smooth manner, it flows and makes so much sense. That's probably what I love most about your stories, that and the emotions!

I can't believe this thing is over too...now I have to get going on some of your other stories! But before I go, I have one question that I would appreciate an answer to. How do you come up with stories so intricate like this? I'm wondering; do you come up with an idea and just sit down and go with it, or do you actually plan out everything beforehand? My style as an author is to plan everything before I even write, and that takes some time. I was just curious as to your style of writing. Well, I'll be talking to you around as I wait for updates on Louder Than Words and Within These Walls, and as for this story, just complete and utter brilliance; I loved it!
