Wow, um considering the level of torture and brutality inflicted on Ron, the aftermath does not match up. Ron's friends treated him as if he used blood quill like Harry. How do you look at a torture victim and just say, "Wow, that looks like it hurt. Glad your alive bro." I can't believe anyone would be heartless enough to say "You're the only student to ever be whipped in the Wizarding World since the turn of the century" or "You're famous. A part of Wizarding History" FOR BEING WHIPPED! You made an exhibit out of Ron! Imagine if someone said that to war veterans? Imagine if we put them up on display so we can look at each one of their scars and say "Wicked. I bet there's a great story behind that!" I can't believe the driving force of your story was Fred and George's pranks. In what world does the crime of a few pranks toys equal Ron deserving to get whipped? When you used Hermione to chastize the Twins, you made the implication that it was solely the twins' fault for being thoughtless and not Umbridge for being an evil bitch. Hermione blaming the twins for the LEVEL OF BRUTALITY is equally uncalled for.

I don't have a problem with stories including dark elements like torture or abuse or murder but your callous treatment of these brutal events is infuriating.

I don't flame stories. If I hate a story enough I'll just drop it. It's not worth spreading hate on this platform, but your story infuriated me beyond that. As you will notice, I did not review this story as a guest. You are more than welcome to message me back but I stand firm in my criticism of this story.

Have I been saying in my last review that Umbridge was cruel beyond words? Reading this I realised there is still a lot to go on. She certainly deserved that trial!
But from your epilogues I think I liked the first one a bit better - it showed also Madam Pomfrey's great work :)

A hard read (I'll admit to skimming some of the torture parts-I'm a wimp and can't handle it), but the trio fluff made it all worthwhile. I love these three.

Ran the gauntlet with that story. Full on physical and emotional torture for dear Ron? I'm on board. Happy ending with trio fluff? You've made this ship a pleasure cruise. Very enjoyable story, well written with angst and hurt care abounding. Beautiful.

That was way too cruel

Here is what I would consider a "Slap on the wrist" for her: After Minister Fudge receives reports of the savage treatment and her attempts to cover up her own actions, (Pictures of the scourging and him being able to hold the bloodied whip still with Ron's torn flesh on its barbs as evidence) she is stripped of her position as headmistress and inquisitor.

The Daily Profit publishes an exclusive report on the torture and abuse of students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Also Umbridge is not sent to Azkaban but rather committed to the Ministry's Hospital for Criminally Insane Sorcerers where she will remain indefinitely undergoing "Psychiatric Treatment".

TL;DR Off to the Loony Bin with her.
