I love the idea that Louisa takes revenge for everything Caroline puts her thru by taking advantage of her color blindness... definitely never bite the hand that feeds - or dresses - you. Her attitude doesn't even give her a maid that would take her side, since they also likely enjoy that bit of revenge for her spite.
