This was really good. In fact, it was so good that for most of the fic, I was really hating Newkirk and he's one of my favorites and I was feeling very protective of Carter. Very well done. Very well written fic.

I loved this story! Really well written and, as someone whose favourite character is Carter, it was great to see a story centered around him, especially where he is not written as a bumbling, childish idiot. Well done :-)

Urgh. Just /thinking/ about Brandt pisses me the hell off.

I'm still not sure what to say about this fic and I read it last night. FYI I have not had nightmares that bad since my big brother told me that he had invited a vampire into the house and that meant it could come and steal my soul. This story is so disturbing on so many levels that it made me nauseous to read it. But you resolved it so nicely that I kinda want to like it. Please don't take my comments badly. I don't mean anything by them exactly. It's just that this story was significant enough to me that I felt like I had to say something and "Thanks for writing :)" seemed a bit flat and rather out of place for this story.

I'm almost lost for words. That was spectacular. It's not often a piece of fanfiction can force me to sit down and read the whole thing in a single sitting. I was amazed and horrified and fascinated at the same time. Usually I can find something to pick at, like OOC-ness or grammatical errors, but this was so intense that I was completely spellbound. Congratulations on an AMAZING fic!

Amazing. Best Hogan's Heroes fic I've ever read.

As a person who has read a great deal about the Holocaust,and the experiments done by Mengele and other so called "doctors", this story was the hardest to read. It feels that by writing this chapter especially, you have given the countless victims of the experiments a voice.

I just read this in one sitting (It took me quite a number of hours, by the way! :p) I just have to say that this was amazing. I think you've done an exceptional job with this- its still so clearly HH, but the actual content is so far from what happens on the show. I actually love you kept taking this story into darker and darker territory, very well done and quite chilling. There were a few times in which I found Newkirk being a little OOC, but I think in general your characterisation was really strong.

I quite loved the part where Carter is at Heidemann's and almost casually starts talking about memories of Heidemann's wife, seeming to not conciously realise that *he* couldn't know that.

Anyway, I totally loved this.

I have been looking for this story for a long time now. Glad I could find it. You have done an excellent job on it!

This was definitely a much darker fanfic than what I normally read, but the suspense had me on the edge of my seat and I actually cried during chapter 15. Beautifully written. By the way, I just had to google Pig Lickin' Cake. Now I've got a craving for some. XD

"Clearly the Nazis had underestimated the Americans' love of the baseball, but he had had no idea that depriving them of cocoa could have such an effect..." that was the best line out of the whole chapter!

One of the most creative and well-done stories I have ever read...from anywhere! All of your characters-the orginal charcaters and your own-were amazingly done. I thought that Townsend was one of those people that you made us feel bad for and mad at. And Schuler was a proper monster.

As for Carter and Newkirk, I thought their own little story going on between them was well done. It was sad and I even got mad at Newkirk for saying the things he said, but your endnig was perfect for them.

Once again, that was a brilliant story. Awesome job!

The only words I can come up with are awesome, incredible, fantastic...I think the best word is 'phenomenal'. What an amazing story! Chapters 15 and 16 were the best ones, definitely...the scene with Newkirk pointing the gun at Townsend/Carter...and then the scene in the hospital at the end of chapter 16...wow.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm completely blown away by this out-of-this-world story! Is there any chance of a sequel? Please? ROTFL!
