Not gonna run at you with no ShikaINo interaction but definitely going to run at you with the lack of iNo as a whole in this chapter, and the lack of NejiIno. MANNNN the way you've danced around them in this fic gives them so much chemistry

I loved the scene you described when she wakes up before him and just enjoys being snuggled up next to him

I am so surprised that they're together at this point because LIke ino said he oens't seem ot reat her any differently than he does anyone else. But then agian I sort of understand Shikamaur, when you love someone so deeply and wholly and have been around them your whole life that you sort of take your own affection for them as granted. Like your affection then becomes very quiet and solid and grounded, almost like, of course it is there and doesn';t need to be loud, why are you even questioning it. Like I get this.

Yet at the same time, i also get how eveyrone can and even shikamaru can get into her head and have her think like this.

LMAO, Shikamaru is a lil bit jealous of Neji? Maybe he sees what everyone else has been rumoring and is bothered by her closeness to Neji

NO I love Neji being there. I've only read a select few NejiIno but you write so beautifully that honestly any ino pairing would be a treat to read with your writing. I am a little confused as to whether or not it going to be a triangle sort of thing. I really do hope in the future chapters Neji shows some sort of romantic interest in Ino.

ShikaIno aren't together yet, right? Sakura called her shikamaru's girlfriend ironically? or no they are together? I a m not clear on that

I'm loving it so far! There are so few good ShikaIno fics and this is def one of them. I love how you've written all the characters so far. I especially like Ino and Neji's friendship.
