Great story, I really wished they ended up together in the show

I was actually there to support Sarah when she left for England in The New Frontier until she returned to Philadelphia in In Praise of Ben. I wanted to be Sarah's friend, because she was nice to me. We spent a lot of girl time together in these 4 episodes (except for The Great Galvez, of course, in which I decided to hang out with the 2 boys). It was like the 2 of us were more than just best friends- we were like long-lost sisters, of course! Of course, it would have been just as cool to have Sarah as an older sister as Ali. She also went out on her first date in Not Yet Begun to Fight, as well as did girl stuff in The New Frontier. Finally, for In Praise of Ben, when she was turning 15 in 9th grade, I decided to celebrate with something extra special because since Sarah did so many nice things for my birthday over the years, I decided to do something nice for her back. All of our other friends were involved in the celebration, too. These episodes are known as nice, quiet ballads, because Sarah is more of a laid-back, reserved person, except for In Praise of Ben sounds a little more joyous.

This was just an absolute delight to read! Obviously I'm about 7 years late but I thought I'd follow you anyway, just in case the mood ever strikes you again to write something about James and Sarah. I hope you have continued to write as you are very good at it :)

Love it! Your story is good, and your vocabulary is excellent. You might want to review proper punctuation rules, though.

For example, "It was far from all this madness, this violence, this war… it was… home." should be two sentences, "It was far from this madness, this violence, this war. It was home."

I have "In Praise of Ben" recorded...though I haven't exactly watched it in a while now. I really should XD Along with "The Bostonians."

When James and Moses first got back to the shop, Sarah was, like, at the doorway - real awkward - and says, "Um...hi..."

And when she's going to James to hug him - after he says, "Well it's about time, isn't it?" - she says, "Oh James, I'm so happy that even you can't ruin it!" And he smiles when she hugs him, sheepishly, makes a weird "heheh" sound as he pats her back XD
