I like that Harry isn't a mutant himself in this story, and that his lasting impressions from the war boiled down to irritation with narrow-minded idiots, not despair or self-righteousness. Remy is a good choice of friend, too. Caught between several worlds, the Cajun knows about carving out one's own identity and can probably understand Harry better than most. Finally, THANK YOU for not writing Remy (or anyone else) phonetically. We can all supply the accent in our heads, and that's all we need. |
