Diz chapter 43 . 8/31 Your writing is gorgeous as always! So poetic and heartbreaking. I must go cry now. |
phantom-jedi1 chapter 43 . 7/7 I had nearly forgotten this story, but I'm very pleasantly surprised to have it back! I'll confess that I have a hard time keeping the strands straight, but this is so strange and beautiful a storytelling that I can't really mind. Looking forward to hearing the end and to see how the strands weave together/diverge further. |
Ceebee303 chapter 43 . 7/6 I like the dynamics of this fic! |
Dutra chapter 43 . 7/2 This was good. |
searth05 chapter 43 . 7/1 Oh wow! you're back! Excellent update! I need to reread the entire fic as I thought I remember that part of it is an alternative universe and part of it seemed to be reality? |
Viari chapter 43 . 6/30 OH. MY. GOD. I haven't been on this site in literal YEARS, and two days after I come back (to read and write fic in a totally different fandom) I just happened to check my favorite stories list and did a double-take when I noticed there was an update on this story only 3 HOURS ago?! (Also, apparently I didn't have a story alert for this fic, although maybe that's because I was reading it on the JC? Anyway, oversight corrected!) So it's way too late here, and while I wish I could pull an almost-all-nighter like I did in days of yore so that I can re-read all of this story - and probably Through A Mirror Darkly because of course I should - it will have to wait until tomorrow. But I promise I will be back with an actual review! Holy crap, I'm so freaking excited. Who knew when I started getting back into fanfic that I would have this to look forward to?! |
Guest chapter 43 . 6/30 Oh, no, I thought you updated but there's no new chapter :'( |
ANAKINS-CLAW chapter 43 . 1/5 This was one of my favourite stories when I read it years ago, and I'm so happy to re-discover it. The description and atmosphere you create is incredible. I absolutely love the way this story blends the fate-like and hopeful elements, without shying away from the darker stuff. Is there any more to this story (or through a mirror darkly) uploaded online? I understand it's not finished, but would love the chance to read extra content if it was out there. |
nikprosta chapter 23 . 3/4/2018 This is amazing, I see you haven't updated it in years. Do you ever plan on finishing it? |
Darth Retailation chapter 43 . 9/2/2016 I'm obesesed with this story (and Through A Mirror Darkly). I reread them both several times and am every time amazed with the writing style. The way you pain with words is just a big WOW. However, I'm saddened with the fact it wasn't updated in a very long time :'( Do you still plan on finishing it? Are there any drafts/chapters writen after the last update? XOXO |
SiriuslyPink chapter 43 . 3/3/2016 Luke should get the Empire. He's the oldest. |
Guest chapter 43 . 1/22/2016 A beautiful story. Oh, how I wish you could at least tell us how you planned on finishing the Kiber crystal storyline! Even though you no longer update this story, I will keep it bookmarked to check every-so-often in the hope that you at least tell us readers what you planned on having happen! I really fell in love with this read, and I rarely read fanfiction. Brilliant. Heartbreaking that isn't complete, but brilliant. |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/20/2015 Ah this story is wonderful. I do hope you continue it. |
Vi-Violence chapter 43 . 10/28/2013 Um, did this change realities part way through? |
Padakin chapter 43 . 6/23/2011 It's been quite a long time since I read this story (life gets in the way of favorite things). I'd almost forgotten how lovely and dark it is. There are many things I liked about this chapter... The first being the play between Vader and Padme. She is almost cruel. Kindness (or self-righteousness) is often very close to cruelty, and I enjoyed that Vader is seeing the differences between the woman he fell in love with and the woman in front of him. However. Would Padme really use the children to hurt him? That doesn't seem like her. However much she wants to punish him, I cannot see her punishing her children in that way, or looking the other way as they strangle each other. I'm going to have to go back and read it again. But good job as always-I love the way the story is written. It's brutal but poetic. |
