I read this story a few years ago and loved it. And earlier today, I was like "hmm...maybe I'll read some Brokeback Fanfiction." I searched through three pages of 20,000 words and more stories just to find this little gem. After years, I can say this, it still brings me joy and giddiness. I squealed, I giggled, I cursed, and I teared a little. It had all the right elements to make an engaging masterpiece. It was beautiful. Thank you for writing it. Bye.

In this story, jack and ennis are 56-57 years old, but I imagined them to be 25 (sorry, I cant seem to picture old men...wrestling for the tv remote). Yes, i was uncomfortable while reading the parts where the book itself is mentioned, but the story itself is superb. Im just wondering what will happen to them afterwards, now that they already together for real, but I guess its up to us readers to imagine what's is a ride that I will never forget. Thank you for writing this and I hope to read more of your writing!

hiya there. I love how your story unfolds. But for those readers out there, the story becomes exciting once you reach chap 3. A slow start but you will get hooked for sure! This is a new take on how the two lovers meet and greet, and using the original book as the source. I honestly cringed by the thought at first, but that aside, the building tension and relationship between the two is grabbing my ass to the edge of my seat. Im now excited how this develops. Onward!

Firstly, thank you for persevering with this, quite frankly, amazing take on BM. Never before have I read an E&J tale, that has started from such an unorthodox premise. I must admit I did ghost over chapter 1, two to three times, before I decided to follow my gut and take the plunge.
I'm so glad I did.

Secondly, it has been a magnificent reading experience, wading through the latent stream of consciousness, that was both Jack and Ennis' core souls. It's better to be late to the party, than lose your invitation completely.
The pace of this storyline was just pitch perfect, thank you for letting us get to know E&J at a leisurely pace, even though in reality, this was quite the whirlwind romance.

Lastly, thanks for sharing your vision and your talent, with those of us who can only visit Brokeback Mountain, in our dreams.
I look forward to more from your pen.
