Great fic! I was honestly thinking that Ginny would somehow be revived after Tom Riddle was killed, but I guess not. Still though, it's a nice plot twist to have Ginny as a ghost!

I'm a little confused... tom says that ginny had second hand things... but didn't harry buy all her things first had for her?

Love that you continue the orphan series, and so far so good, just got a 2 comments on this chapter, 1 why are they being punished well thewy comfirmed it was a houseelfs fault, it doesnt make sense when they believe them and still punsish them and 2 is this, "There is no way a Slytherin will be welcomed into the noble House of Slytherin!" Malfoy yelled. I Think you meant with the first slytherin Weasly, going read the rest now, i'm really loving this.

Why does it say she complained about her hand me down robes when Harry bought her new ones? Why kill of Ginny for once I actually liked her? Any good work.

Good overall, but I think the original writer of the story that came before this was perhaps a bit better. The change with Ginny was interesting though.

Okay, we have a problem. You are ignoring the changes you made. There was no sane reason to bring Lockheart. They knew he was useless, and yet they suddenly jumped back to the canon track and brought him. The better choices that were left were Snape and Flitwick, and, preferably both. Bringing Lockhart made no sense whatsoever. The correct course of action, for a smart slytherin is to get to Snape, Flitwick, and a rooster, if one is obtainable really quickly. For that matter, Snape would likely agree to go with them, without forcing Harry to stay behind, in the oft change that Harry would get killed by the beast.

you messed up the totals. the grand total of house points with your additions is slytherin:560 and gryffindor 500. it's not a tie.

I do think the Weasley's grief over Ginny's death might have been more obvious. Alright, she's come back as a ghost so the loss and separation has been mitigated, but there are still many things to be upset about. She'll never grow up, have a nervous breakdown over her exams, have kids or any number of things that would require a body. And there was that period when they thought she was gone forever. And -oh hell- now she's going to be the one to watch everyone she knows die, over and over again.

What was it that compelled her to remain?

Anyway, great story, I've really enjoyed reading it and am now heading off to search for the sequel.
