This is such a great spin on the game. The personal side of the pilot you play as and his wingmen. So good! Can't wait to read the next chapter. A suggestion I would make is that at the end, for an alternate ending, have Blaze and Nagase get married. Just a thought. Lol

When I came across that Jack Russell comment, I couldn't help it: I burst out laughing.

You are one of the VERY few author's I've seen that have stories that would make sense if placed in the original universe, and not just in Ace Combat, but in ANY series.

I wish more authors would stay true to the series, but alas, it was never meant to be.
