I don't know whether or not it is only coincidence, but I started to reread this, as it is a personal fun favorite of mine, and my media player, on shuffle, puts on the Police's 'Don't Stand So Close to Me.' Lest to say, I fell out laughing after that. XD

Anyway, I love the way you keep Vincent so sardonic and absolutely 'Vinnie' without trying to compromise his personality. I love the type of relationship because it is really intriguing, though I usually go for a different approach.

I also like the fact that you have done a bit of research on the type of schooling that is given with Japanese schools compared to American. I did not understand the Kirishima thing about getting changed or what it was supposed to be. If you could, could you please explain it to me.

By the way, I knew Vinnie would know how to make Valentine's Day a way to make girls cry. XD (SAD-Singles Awareness Day) You keep the tension strong and for sure keep your audience very interested.

Another extremely entertaining chapter! Your thorough knowledge of the japanese school system and pop culture is amazing, to say in the least. Unlike other AUs that I have read, the character's action dont seem forced. The interaction they share with others as well as the environment seem natural AND in-character (thank goodness).

Elena as a Yamanba girl is a frightening image. Those girls are going to OD on bronzer one day. The appearance of Reeve in the beginning of this chapter was delightful, as well. And your Vincent is brilliant! My favorite part of this chapter would be how he so inconspicuously hid his erection behind the desk. Smooth one, Vinnie. Real smooth.

Lolita is my favorite novel (as I have a penchant for May-December relationships), but I am happy that this story will be taken in a different direction. Despite my ardent affection for our dearest Hummy, I think Vincent would be more... tactful with his relationship. By this I mean I doubt he would try to drug Yuffie with sleeping pills in a hotel room then proceed to do the nasty. Ah, Humbert.

Aw shucks. Here I was getting my hopes up for road-trip!smut. XD And you know, I bet you could write a death scene in five minutes and it would still be better than 60% of the other crap here at ffn. Absolutely marvelous, really. Pen Against Sword mentioned this fiction to me and I decided to give it a look (she also linked me to Operation: Exploding Jellyfish).

As this is obviously an AU, we can't really speak in terms of characterization as it would pertain to the normal FFVII universe, but honestly - bang-up job. All of the characters mentioned are behaving very true to their basic natures. I liked Vincent's inner turmoil a great deal - "She was turning him into a pervert." Conflict, wonderful.

Your writing is vivid and sets whatever scene you set out to do perfectly. All in all, excellent job, and I look forward to the next update (whenever that may be).

With Kirishima, are you referring to burusera shops in Japan?

Just a suggestion, but since you decided to use a Japanese high school setting, maybe you can use Japanese honorifics with the characters' names?
